Bloomfield Hills, Oakland County

One of the most affluent cities in Michigan: a National Historic Landmark campus, country clubs, and a housing market that tops the state's price list.

Bloomfield Hills sits at the top of the Oakland County market. The city is compact, roughly 4,460 residents at the 2020 census, but its name carries the region's luxury story: private estate drives, mature trees, country clubs, and some of the highest home values in Michigan. It is surrounded on most sides by Bloomfield Township, which keeps the city small and exclusive while the township absorbs the everyday volume.

The cultural anchor is Cranbrook, the 319-acre Educational Community designated a National Historic Landmark, home to Cranbrook Schools, the Cranbrook Academy of Art, and the Cranbrook Art Museum. The Bloomfield Hills Country Club and the Bloomfield Open Hunt Club anchor the social calendar, and Woodward Avenue runs the city's spine, minutes from the shops of Birmingham.

The market is one of the most expensive in the state. Zillow's typical home value measured near $690,000 in June 2026, and median sale reports range from about $650,000 to more than $900,000 depending on source and window. Buyers here are relocating executives, established families, and empty nesters trading the big estate for a newer, smaller footprint, while sellers face a deep pool of qualified luxury buyers.

Raquel works Bloomfield Hills across that range, from the estate market to transitional luxury, and she pairs it with her new construction specialty: several of the county's premier builders run projects in and around the city. Discretion, current estate comps, and honest advice are the operating standard.
