The Profile · Raquel Delly, eXp Realty

People kept telling me to get my license. They were right.

I'm Raquel Delly, a licensed Michigan real estate salesperson with eXp Realty serving Oakland County and Macomb County. I've spent 12 years helping people buy, sell, and build homes, and all 130 of those closings started the same way: a conversation.

I was told by multiple real estate agents to get my license while I was working at Verizon Wireless in Commerce Township and West Bloomfield. I worked toward it while holding down a full-time job, passed the Michigan test in 2015, and the rest, as they say, is history.

I'm just somebody who likes to take care of people and help people in any way I can. A lot of that comes from how I was raised, but I have a good instinct for what somebody is going through, what they need, and how to guide them to where they need to be. And I genuinely enjoy doing it.

That instinct shows up in the work. First-time buyers get walked through every document instead of handed a stack. Sellers get told the truth about price, prep, and expectations. New construction clients get their own advocate at the builder's table, which is why I've made new builds one of my primary focuses across both counties, especially in Macomb County.

I'm the agent who is all business when it's time to negotiate, but all heart when it comes to my people. Clients describe me as responsive, knowledgeable, and patient, and I've built my reputation one family at a time.

My Mission · In My Words

What I'm here to do

"My mission is to guide my clients through real estate with honesty, experience, and heart, advocating for their best interests while making every step feel easier, more comfortable, and more rewarding."

What I want clients to feel at the end is relief, like a burden has been lifted, or like a goal has been accomplished and I got to help be part of it. I can't promise a stress-free transaction, and I'll say so up front. I promise that you will never navigate a challenge without guidance, communication, and someone advocating for you.

How I Work · Four Standing Rules

The way I run every transaction

Rule 01

Listening first

Before the tour, before the offer, before any advice: what are you actually trying to do? I ask, then I listen. The plan comes after.

Rule 02

Honest conversations

I'll tell you when a home isn't the right fit and explain your options in plain language. You can ask questions without feeling rushed, and you'll always hear back.

Rule 03

All business, all heart

When it's time to negotiate, I'm assertive and strategic. When it comes to my people, I'm patient, warm, and loyal. Both are the same job.

Rule 04

After the keys

My dedication doesn't end at closing. I stay a trusted resource, with referrals, recommendations, and follow-up calls handled long after the move.

The Working History

From the Verizon floor to 130 closings

  1. Before 2015

  2. 2015

Passed the Michigan licensing exam while holding down that full-time job. People kept telling me I would be good at this, and it turned out they were right.

  3. 2015-today

Built the practice one family at a time across Oakland and Macomb counties. Twelve years and 130 homes sold, many of them to clients who came back for the second move.

  4. Now

Licensed salesperson (MI 385803) with eXp Realty, focused on first-time buyers, move-up buyers, sellers, and new construction, including a strong niche in Macomb County.

Outside the showing calendar

When I'm not showing homes, I'm working out, on the golf course still perfecting my game, in the kitchen, or checking out a newly opened restaurant. I spend as much time as I can with family and friends, I'm involved in my Catholic community, and I'm always up for discovering something new going on around Metro Detroit.

Those interests aren't just hobbies. They're how I know the neighborhoods, the restaurants, the schools, and the local events that help clients picture their life in a new zip code. One thing I want to be clear about: my faith shapes my personal values, but my real estate services are welcoming and available to everyone.
