Auburn Hills, Oakland County
Home to Stellantis's North American headquarters and Oakland University, Auburn Hills attracts engineers, new families, and the region's most active new construction.
Auburn Hills is the technology corridor's address: the North American headquarters of Stellantis dominates the skyline along the freeway, more than fifty automotive companies keep offices here, and Oakland University's campus brings a steady stream of faculty and staff into the community. It is a working city with a serious new-construction habit.
The housing market runs younger and newer than its neighbors. New subdivisions, townhome communities, and buildable lots ring the city, making Auburn Hills one of the stronger new-construction markets in Oakland County, right in Raquel's specialty lane. The Avondale School District serves most of the city, with Rochester Community Schools and Pontiac touching other parts.
Price is the appeal: newer construction at entry prices below Troy and Birmingham, which draws first-time buyers priced out of the tonier suburbs and move-up buyers who want the new build without the traffic.
Raquel's Auburn Hills clients split between new-construction buyers at the builder's table (contract, incentives, upgrades) and owners selling their first home to fund the next one. Both get the same treatment: local data, plain language, and no pressure.
